Challenge

Week -2

Project: Doorbell

Pulse generator which generates the pulse as an input to the switch through simulink ps converter which coverts the signal from simulink signals to physical signals one end of switch is connected to battery and another to solenoid, battery is connected to electrical reference(ground) and then solenoid is connected to ideal transational motion sensor which senses the movement of plunger or rod, mechanical transational reference is connected to solenoid and ideal transational motion sensor and further it is connected to the scope for ouptput.

When the pulse is generated i.e. when the switch or button of doorbell is operated it sends signal to solenoid using the power source as battery and the solenoid gets operated and the bell starts ringing which can be shown in output below.

Project : Thermistor

The connections are as shown below in the model (image). In signal builder the signal can be set to required values and it is converted to physical signal from simulink signal to the controlled temperature source which sources the controlled temperature as an input recieved from signal builder and then the signals are passed to thermistor which will be operated when the temperature reaches 300K as the required input and then the voltage is sensed by the voltage sensor through the output of thermistor and then the switch recieves the voltage from voltage sensor and the limits are added to the switch 0-1 and acts accordingly and the output is shown in scope as a graph as shown below.

Faced lot of problems while solving this challenge and got to know some inputs in simulink.
