Week 14 challenge

AIM-

assemble all 3D model parts of the butterfly valve created and do drafting in assembly uisng NX CAD.

PROCEDURE-

create an assembly file and bring all parts into it.place the parts in appropriate places and orientation.

do drafting for the assembly of butterfly valve.

the valve will be joining with a pipe.so the first surfaces which would be come in contact will be one of the three ear like structure.instead of giving whole surface as datum A;we give a circular region around the hole on the ear like structure as datum target area A1,A2,A3.these dayum target area create datum A.we gave flatness tolerance for datum A.

one of the holes of the datum A is datum B and from remaining two one will be datum C.we gave perpendicularity tolernace for datum B with respect to datum A and position tolernace for datum C with respect to datum Aand B.

we gave a additonal datum called D for the remaining hole and positional tolerance is given with respect to datum A,B,C.

the holes opposite to the datum B,C,D are given with positional tolernace with corresponding holes axis align each other.

RESULT-

the parts of butterflyvalve is created and assembled.the drafting of the assembly is done with GD&T.
