Week 12:Project 2-Meshing of Rear Wheel Holder challenge

Aim: To mesh on the rear wheel holder and check the element failures.

Working procedure:

1) Import the model and check the geometrical errors.

2) Create the mid surface by skin operation.

3) Work on the mid surface and do the geometrical cleanup.

4) Create the criteria file and parameter file.

5) Apply the batch meshing on the geometry.

6) Check the element failures and opposite trias and quads.

For opposite trias and quad elemts i have perform the rebuild operation, split, element cleanup, smooth, place nodes,combine elements, swap edges, align the nodes, node translate.

7) In element failure cleanup i have face the more problem in warpage cleanup, because i have noggle the required conns, while meshing one of the element node is falling in other plane so the element failure is coming.

8) To clear this problem i have perform the rebuild and untoggle the con and also i have use the element cleanup command.

9) To create the material id and property id.

Learning outcome:

Performing the batch meshing and new commands.

Conclusion:

Performing batch meshing takes less time but element cleanup take more time.
