Week 12:Project-1-Meshing of Door Inner Panel Challenge

Objective:

Mesh the plastic component and assign the thickness.

Procedure

1-Import the geometry and geometry cleanup.

2-Trim the geometry in to four equal parts.

3- Defeature the surface fillet (defeature-surfs fillets)

4-Generate the mid surface and extend the features till base (surface edit- extend)

5-Mesh the each component separately and remove the quality failure to achieve the better mesh flow.

6-stitch the all four parts of components and improve the quality of mesh.

7- Assign different thickness to the different components.

8-final component.

1-Learn to mesh the complex plastic component

2-Learn to remove the quality failures with better mesh flow.

3-Learn to assign the thickness to different components.
