Week 10 - Challenge 3 - Door Trim Lower with Engineering Features

Tooling Direction:

We checked all the 3 directions X, Y, Z & selected the tooling direction as Y-Axis because its the most appropriate one which is suitable. In this component we will require side core to manufacture the profile cutout.

Draft Analysis:

As for the Class A surface the tooling axis we've selected is of and passing the draft analysis so we go ahead with the same Tooling axis.

As the draft done for the final plastic product the analysis is ok, so we go forward with it.

For the locators & heat stakes we've given the minimum draft which is 0.5 degree.
