Week 10 - Challenge 2- Attachment Feature Creation (Dog House)

CLASS A: The class A surface is given as input and draft analysis is made on the given surface.

CLASS B: The class B surface is created by offsetting the class A surface toward the inward direction of the class. now I found unclosed surfaces.so I used to remove the remaining fillet edges after extracting the required surface and then extrapolating the edges and then trimming both surfaces. next, I used an edge fillet in the trimmed surface. also, I found a small unjoined surface so I have used MSS to fill that. now the surface is created.

CLASS C: to create class C I split the boundaries into four and then swept it along with draft direction so I joined surface C with the class A surface. Now combine both the class b and join the surface of classes C & A.

CREATION OF DOG HOUSE: now extract the bottom surface of the given model and then create a point and plane parallel to it. then use the positioned sketch to create a rectangle and one side of it must be a construction element. now use the sweep command. next, I used MSS to close the top surface of the dog house. then offset that surface outward to it and also offset the bottom surface in the range of 3 to 6mm. and thickness must be 40 percent *thickness of the component(2.5mm).next by thickening the dog house surface and then drafting the inner faces toward the side core direction.so I created another tooling axis to make a draft. so now the offset surface is trimmed with the bottom offset surface.so I got a closed surface now we have to split that surface with the dog house .atlast the bottom surfaces must be drafted toward the side core direction and all edges must be filleted. next, I have created another doghouse by pasting it special and by using translation and coordinates are used to make our dog house in the correct location where we needed................................. Finally, the component with the doghouse creation is completed. images are attached below.
