Week 10 - Challenge 2- Attachment Feature Creation (Dog House)
DOG HOUSE DESIGN
TOOLING AXIS :-

To Generate The Tooling Axis—The Point At Which The Injection Molding Molds Separate—The Class-A Surface Is First Examined. Since Tooling Direction Determines Mold Separation Direction, It Is Crucial To Plastic Product Design.
Using A Compass, We Must First Determine Which Direction Is Optimal For Tooling Before Creating The Tooling Axis. Since Most Surfaces Clear In This Direction When Conducting Draft Analysis, The Y Direction Is Appropriate For Establishing The Tooling Axis. In Most Cases, The Tooling Axis Is Formed By Bisecting The Surface; However, In This Case, The Tooling Axis Is Formed By Creating A Line Normal To The Surface In The Y Direction.
DRAFT ANALYSIS :-

To Determine If A Part Has A Required Draft Or Not, Draft Analysis Is Necessary.A Tool That Helps Us Decide Whether To Separate The Portion We're Developing From The Tool That's Being Used To Design It Is Called A Draft Analysis.
In The Display Frame, The Produced Part Needs To Be Adjusted To The Material Mode.
Compass Is Turned On, Lining It Up With The Direction Of The Tooling.
Next, The Tooling Axis And The Compass Are Fixed Using The Lock Command.
Classification Is Done Using Color Codes, And Draft Angle Is Used.
Allowable Draft Angles Are Shown Using Running Point Analysis.
