Week 10 - Challenge 2- Attachment Feature Creation (Dog House)

AIM: To create a dog house in door trim

TOOLING AIXS: To create a tooling axis according to the best view of the component in X,Y,Z direction using bisecting method

And draft analyse the class A surface in the angle of 3 degree

In some area it not clear with 3 degree because there some problem in class A surface creation

CREATION OF CLASS B SURFACE:

Offset the class A surface to 2.5mm and some gap are created while we offset so we fill the gap using tool like multi section surface, fill and blend.

CREATION OF CLASS C SURFACE:

Take the boundary and sweep with reference with surface in 90 degree one by one and join together and we got the whole sweep and we join we the class A surface and finally trim with the class B surface and we have final plastic product

Creation doghouse:

extract the surface and then draw the sketch of the doghouse

And extrude give draft 1.5 degree in outside surface and 0.5 degree in inside surface and draft analysis with tooling aixs and side core axis

CONCLUSION:

Created the dog house in door trim according to the design rules
