Week 10 - Challenge 2- Attachment Feature Creation (Dog House)
Week 10 - Challenge 2- Attachment Feature Creation (Dog House)
Objective :- Create the Dog House for the Door Trim considering the design rules mentioned in the video. Consider the thickness of the part to be 2.5 mm
Tooling Axis Creation
Intersect the surface with YZ plane . Make two lines coincidence with the intersecting curves, create a bisecting

Draft Analysis for A Surface

A surface have undercut issue so we need to discuss with Class-A Surface team but these is for a challenge purpose also the challange for doghouse fixations so iam consider to move on

B Surface Creation
The part thickness is 2.5mm

While offsect the B surface some patch is needed done nicely and close each and every gaps.

Dog House Making

Core Thickness is 2.5*0.4=1mm
The is height is =6mm
The total height of the dog = 20mm
Draft =1.5mm
The outer radius = 2.5mm
The inner radius = 0.5mm
I make the doghouse in different way
- First i make a square and pad it

- Drafted the pad

Then I shell it

Give the outer dia and draft the inside with side core axis

Split the Dog house for coring for the offest the surface for 6mm and take inside dog house surface offseted to 1mm

Then given the fillet for all inside edges

Draft Analysis For Dog House
1st we need creat a side core axis for that creat a line along to X axis

Conclusion :
Hence, the dog house for the door trim was created by considering the design rules, and the Draft analysis performed on the final component is successfully done.
