Week 10 - Challenge 1- Attachment Feature Creation (Ribs & Screw Boss)

1. Door handle surface is joined to obtain class A . Then the tooling axis created on the flat surface . Then the offset of class A of 2.5 mm is taken to create class B inorder to obtain a component of thickness 2.5 mm. Next step was to create the C surface for that boundaries of A surface is selected and made a sweep , the sweep is made either with draft direction or the reference surface based on the direction with tooling axis. After the sweep is made , the entire sweep is joined to obtain class C. Then joined A+C , then trim with B inorder to obtain the part component . After that cretaed the rib as per the guidelines ,provided the fillet , then screw boss is made. Draft analysis was done 2.8 degree was the max deviation , proper component was obtained in the final result.
