Week 10- Assembly Workbench

AIM:

Create the parts and assemble the created parts by the use of given drawing.

METHODOLOGY:

PROCEDURE:

Part creation:

First created given parts separately in part and surface workbench by the help of given drawing. First draw 2D sketch then convert 3D with the help of different comment

Tools:

Different part and surface tools are used for part creation.

Part workbench:

  1. Pad

2d sketches are extrude on required direction and heights.

  1. Pocket:

It is used create cut the required parts with the help of 2D sketches.

  1. Fillets:

It is used to change sharp edge to round edges.

  1. Symmetry:

It is used to mirror and create symmetry part on opposite direction with help of plane.

ASSEMBLEY 1:

ASSEMBLEY 2:

ASSEMBLY:

Created 3D parts are assembled in assembly work bench in which bench different feature like coincident, contact, offset plane, mirror etc. used to assemble.

TOOLS:

  1. Coincidence:

It is used to give merge and coincidence to two parts, point plane etc.

  1. Contact constrains:

It is used to give contact two portion.

  1. Offset constrains:

It is used to give offset to the two plane and parts.

  1. Fix:

It is used two fix particular part, point, plane etc.

  1. Symmetry:

It is used to mirror and another symmetry part.

  1. Manipulation:

It is used to move or rotate dopant on axis, X, Y, Z direction etc.

ASSEMBLEY 1:

ASSEMBLEY 2:

Drafting creation:

Created 3D parts and assembled parts are drafting which means change 2D and convert front, top, side and isometric view. The give proper dimension for it.

TOOLS:

  1. Dimensions:

Lot of different dimension tools are used to give dimensions to the parts.

  1. Views:

Different types of views like front, top, side and isometric views are created. Cut views also created in different portion.

  1. Scale:

Different size of scale also set in depend on parts.

  1. Sheets:

Different sheets like A1, A3, A2 also we can set in this work bench.

ASSEMBLEY 1:

ASSEMBLEY 2

.

CONCULATION:

Parts are separately created and which are successfully assembled then all parts drafted and dimension has been given succesfully.
