Week 1:- Introduction to BiW and Fixtures Challenge
1).Body In White. It is welded sheets metal components which form to the vehicles structure to which other components will be married. i.e engine,chaisse,interior and exterior trim.
BIW in automotive design or automobile manufaturing in which car body sheets metal has assembled or designed but before the components have been added like chassis,motor,trim like seats,electroinc etc.

Types of fixture=1)Production fixture -is mass production purpose
2)Pre production operation fixture(PPO)
3)Checking fixture-for car panel geomertic inspection purpose.
4).Basic Principle of fixture design:-for any free body there are total of tweleve degrees of freedom.
6 transaltion degree of freedom:-(+X,-X,+Y,-Y,+Z,-Z)
