Underbody Coating
Undercoating is a spray based anti-corrosion coatings for the repair and protection of non-visible areas, such as underbody parts of vehicles that do not need to be painted over, and vibration reduction and also dampens noise on underbody parts. Products can be sprayed haze-free without any cob-webbing. They don’t drip and show good adhesion on different paints, metal primers, metals and PVC without any pre-treatment.
Benefits of undercoating
Saves money: buy a quick dry undercoat and can do the job by yourself
Reduce road noise: a vehicle undercarriage gets noisier as time goes by due to rust and wear. Most of them are formulated to seal all
The extra layer of protection: Adds an extra protection layer from mold, moisture, dust, and rot. It also protects from dents, scratches, and paint chips. It also extends the life of your vehicle.
Cons of underbody coating:
If you apply it over corrosion, you won’t be making any improvement, it has to be done before the corrosion otherwise the sealant won’t work its magic. Works best on new cars. A third-party undercoating service might void your vehicle's warranty. Must be re-applied every 3 to 5 years for the best results.
