To model columns for industrial steel structure using TSD

1.Create column properties for different types of pedestal members and model in the grids created as per the assignment 1.

Answer -

First we have to open tekla software.

Here we set the levels using the construction levels option.

And the grid lines are drawn according to the given attachment.

Next we create column properties for diffrent types of pedastal members and modal in the grids.

2. Create column properties for steel columns and model columns in the grid created as per assignment 1.

Answer -

Next we go to the home tab and select manage property sets option.

Next the new tab will be appears, in that we need to add the properties of steel column and steel beam.

Next click on the ok button.

Now we add the steel column by applying the column properties which we have added in the manage peoperty sets.

3. Create beam properties and model primary and secondary beams on the ground floor.

Answer -

Now we add the steel beams by applying the beam properties which we have added in the manage property sets.

Now the steel beams and steel columns are shown in the 3D view.
