steady_flow_over_throttle_body
- The simulation is about the steady flow of air over a throttle body.
- This type of flow is used to maintain the pressure drop.
- At Inlet and Outlet plot the mass flow rate remains steady because the mass in conserved in this system.
- At Inlet the dynamic pressure increses due to the free flow of molecules.
- At Outlet the static pressure increases due to the flow through throttle body:here the pressure energy is converted into the walls and boundaries to the throttle body.
- At Inlet the velocity plot is in steady state but at outlet the velocity first increases and steady in nature, because the molecules flow over the throttle attains kinetic energy due to the heat energy on the throttle boundaries and walls of throttle.
