Battery

      A battery is a device consisting of one more electrical cells that convert chemical energy to electrical energy.which has anode,cathode and electrolyte.

Types of batteries

*Primary battery:

   They can't be recharged once they run out of power.it discard immediately when discharged and they can't be used again.

Eg : alkaline batteries.

*Secondary battery:

The main advantage of these batteries is they can be recharged and reused for several cycles.

Eg: lithium ion battery used in mobiles and ev

Qn no.3

Given load - 10A

Voltage-12v

   A branch circuit fuse must open in one minute at 125% of the fuse's name plate rating.

The fuse is selected that has a rating at a minimum of 125% of the connected load.

    =125% of 10A

   Fuse rating = 12.5 A

Therefore in market we find standard fuse size above 12.5A is 15A fuse rating...

Qn no.4

Given p= 500W

V= 12v

Therefore Watt hour=500Wh

To find the ampere hour

      Ah=Wh/v

    Ampere hour = 4.16 Ah

Qn no.5

*Horn 1 and 2 and SCALCD 1and 2 are connected in Parallel to each other .they are connected in parallel to horn and foot switches respectively.

*When the switches are set closed at the same time the voltage shares same voltage to the horn and SCALCD and blow the horn and glow the light with same voltage difference to the circuit.

Qn no.6

*Dome light and tail stop switches are connected in series with dome light switch and stop LT switch respectively.

*When the switches are set closed the current flows through the dome light and tail stop light glow individually.
