2.Explain the purpose and working of any three elements briefly.

Junction Block

Purpose

A junction block provides a convenient point for all wiring in a vehicle.This central location helps provide electrical power to various systems in a tidy manner. Its alo called as Terminal Block. Terminal blocks prevent shorts, eliminate wire splicing and also conserve panel space.

Working

The Junction Block worked as a safety purpose of the vehicles, if in the vehicle having multiple circuit needed to connect with one terminal to use the junction Block. Its used as a connectors from Single line to various circuit or other Systems.The junction block essentially provides the main point for all wiring connections from the interior lighting, instrument panel and rear window wiper features. The junction block eliminates having to wire connections between modules, thus providing high reliability.

Ignition Coil

Purpose

Ignition Coil is a induction coil acts like a transformer to transform the voltage to more amount of volts to create the electric spark in the spark plung to ignite the fules.The ignition coil acts like a transformer,by means of two coils, one inside the other, the ignition coil transforms the electrical energy from the vehicle battery into high voltage, saves it briefly and then emits it as a high voltage current pulse to the spark plug.

working

Ignition Coil is a conventional automobiles burn gasoline in an internal combustion engine and convert that energy into motion. But first a spark is needed to ignite the fuel mixture.The primary circuit carries low voltage. This circuit operates only on battery current and is controlled by the breaker points and the ignition switch. When the ignition key is turned on, a low voltage current from the battery flows through the primary windings of the ignition coil, through the breaker points and back to the battery. This current flow causes a magnetic field to form around the coil.

Battery

Purpose

a battery is a device that converts chemical energy into electricity. An automobile battery is a wet cell battery that contains actual energy that stores chemical energy and then transforms it into electrical energy on applications.

Working

A Battery is a Main part of vehicle system. It contains enough power to start the engine and its used to keep the energy system of vehicle sustainable.It transfers initial currents of energy over to an alternate performance system of your vehicle.It also supplies additional current when the demand is higher than the alternator can supply and acts as an electrical reservoir.The battery gets fresh power from the voltage regulator, which directs the regulator to send power back to the battery. This step ensures that the battery has enough energy to start your car the next time you turn the key. so that is the main working conditions of battery.

3.If the total load is 10A from battery, what should be the fuse rating?

the total load from battery is 10A.

Lets assume the conditions, the fuse rating should be in original 150%-200%in original current more than the total load

∴ The fuse rating is 15A- 20 A or might be more than that.

4.If 500W is the load, what is the voltage and capacity of battery you recommend?

The power Load is 500W

By the conditions voltage of a battery used in a car is 12V battery, so lets take Voltage =12V

As the power formula,

P=V*I

I= P/V

= 500/12

I=41.6 A

∴ The Capacity of battery is 41.6A in a hour.

5.Identify any two elements which are connected parallel to each other. Why they are connected in parallel?

Ignition System and all parts which given by loads like beam, horn, tail lamp etc. They are all connected in parallel connections. If switch can be turned on it allows all electrical accesories like lamp, horn etc. without start the engine. THe enigne run and all electrical accessories can be used.when the key is turend on, a low voltage current from the battery flows through the primary windings of the ignition coil, through the breaker points and back to the battery. so its flow the current in all accessories.

6.Identify any two elements which are connected in series. Why they are connected in series?

Battery And Generator connected series to each other, because,If I put the generators and batteries in series I would get 12v like you said but I need 12v and 10amps. If I put the connections in parallel ( 12v 10amps + 12v and 10amps = 12v and 10amps) and connect them to the series batteries ( 12v 10amps + 12v 10amps = 24v and 10amps).
