Project - Analysis of a practical automotive wiring circuit

1. Battery, starter, Ammeter, fuse, horn button, don't light switch, foot selector switch, current voltage regulator, generator, ignition coil, distributor, breaker.

2.1. Battery:- A battery is a device that stores chemical energy and converts it to electrical energy. The chemical reactions in a battery involves the flow of electrons from one material to another through an external circuit. The flow of electrons provides and electrical current that can be used to do work.

2.2. Ammeter:-An Ammeter is a device or instrument that can measure either direct or alternating electric current in amperes that flows in an electric circuit. An Ammeter can measure a wide range of current values because at high value only a small portion of the current is directly directly through the metre mechanism. Ammeter is always connected in series with the circuit.

2.3. Fuse:- A fuse is an electrical safety device that operates to provide overcurrent production of an electric circuit. It's essential component is a metal wire or strip that melts when too much current flows through it, thereby stopping or interrupting the current.

3. A fuse rating related to the strength of current allowing through the circuit, which changes depending on the type of application, but it's always greater than the input current which is allowed for the appliance but if but it should be in arrange where the overheating could not take place. So for the given appliance the total load is 10 ampere from the battery therefore the fuse rating should be in between two and to 15 ampere. If it's get more than 20 amperes it may get over heated there for 15 ampere is appropriate fuse rating for 10 ampere appliance.

4. Given:- P = 500w, I = 10

We know that P = V * I

Therefore V = P/I. = 500 / 10

Therefore. V = 50 v

We know that capacity of the battery = I * t. (Where t is time which is 1 hour)

Therefore capacity = 10 * 1 = 10 Ah.

5. All appliances and lights that requires the full main voltage are connected in parallel like all lights, motors, horns, etc.

Aur lights are connected in parallel so even if any light is damage the other light will work normally

Horns are connected in parallel because it requires full manual voltage from the source.

All items which we plug into a power outlet are connected in parallel.

6. Items that are typically connected in series are control equipments like fuse, circuit breakers, switches, and dimmers or speed and power controller.

Fuses are connected in series so that if the circuit get overload it will break and the flow of current will stop.

Speed aur power controller mechanism are connected in series so that we can regulate the voltage supply to it and control the speed of the appliance.
