Project
Objective: To Create a CAD model in Spaceclaim and make it ready for 3D Printing.
Idea: To create a minimalistic stand that supports a laptop.
steps: first the sketch was drawn on the sketcher workbench, the drawing is fully constrained. after drawing pull tool is used to pull the object and fillet is used wherever needed.

2. Choosing FDM as my 3D printing methodology, the evaluation points are
- the orientation of the part- it should be orientated in a way that the flat part should be touching the base plate thereby needing no additional brim.
- for the extruded parts, we need to give support, and to reduce the weight, a hole is given.
- because this part is acting as a structural member it will be needing 100% infill.
- all the sharp edges are removed to provide a smooth finish and to reduce layer separation.
in this project I used an online slicing tool to slice the model, before slicing exporting the model to STL format was done on Spaceclaim software.

All the settings are shown in the image.

the points represent support structures.

The G-code file is attached in attachment and the Gcode model is attached below

2d bed layout.
