Project 6
The car model selected for the project is Porsche 911 (1964) coupe.
Porsche 911 is the hallmark model of Porsche and is considered as one of the most successful car models of the 20th century. Although there have been a lot of modifications and updates in the model so as to fulfill customer needs (even in present date the updated models of Porsche 911 exists in the market), but for the project purpose, I will consider Porsche 911 1964 model and try to make slight design adjustments to suite present market.
The 1964 Porsche 911 model is shown as follows:

The peculiar characteristics of the model design are as follows:
1. Long fastback
2. Rounded hood design (typical of 1960's)
3. Long hood (probably to exhibit royalty and power).
4. More curved front wind shield (also typical of 1960's)
Now, what bothers me in the design are the language of body curves. These body curves (e.g. hood curves) are such that they exhibit less streamlined design (probably due to manufacturing constraints of the era).
Thus my further work will be to streamline these body curves to give more present appeal to the car.
The updated design of the model is presented as follows:

The major adjustments in the design are as follows:
1. Shorter fastback.
2. Smoother hood design.
3. Less curved front windshield.
4. Wider windshield.
