Project

Given:
motor max power = 40KW ; motor max voltage : 110
from data sheet:
Max Charge Voltage = 4.2 V ; Max Pulse Discharge Current = 2.6 Amps
Power delivered by one cell = 4.2 * 2.6 = 11 Watts
no.of cell required in series to meet the requried voltage = 110/4.2 = 27 cells
current = power/Voltage = 40*1000/110 = 364 amps
no.of cell required in parallel to meet the requried current = 364/2.6 = 140 cells
Total cell inside the battery pack = 140 * 27 = 3780 cells..
Max. Dimension Diameter(Ø): 18.4mm
Height (H): 65.2mm
Weight of one cell = 46.5g; total weight = 3780 * 46.5 = 175.77 kg
Spot weld to be used for cell interconnection..
mechanical stability and safety : Modal anlaysis , static , vibration, Pole crash & durability.
Recylcing process : direct recycling - to battery manufacturers; hydro process - to cathode production; pyro process - to refineries.
The thermal runaway of lithium-ion batteries is the phenomenon of chain exothermic reactions within the battery. These reactions cause a sharp rise in the internal battery temperature causing the inner structures of the battery to destabilize and degrade, which eventually leads to the failure of the battery.
One of the simplest ways to prevent thermal runaway is to store batteries at safe temperatures. The ideal storage temperature for most lithium-ion batteries is between 40-70 degrees Fahrenheit (5-20 degrees Celsius.
