Project 2_Creating a 3D rendered model for a Residential Building in AutoCad

ANS:-

  • Create a new sheet.
  • Type Unit command and set unit in decimal, precision in 0 and insertion scale in Milimeters.
  • Select line colour as bylayer and then we go for dimension.
  • Type D command dimension dialogue box will open.
  • Then go for modify option another dialogue box will open.
  • First one is lines select colors as 150, linetype and lineweight will be as per standards.
  • Extension line color is also 150. Then we'll go for Symbols and arrows.
  • Arrowheads is going to be closed filled and remaining setting as per Standards.
  • After that we directly go for primary units in which unit format will be decimal , precision take as 0 and decimal seperartor will be period.
  • And rest of the settings as per standards.
  • Draw a horizontal line of 8960mm then vertical line of 12060mm again horizonal line 8960mm and again 12060mm.
  • A rectangle is formed then use offset and give an offset to all four sides of 225mm.
  • Then select the left internal left side vertical line and give an offset of 4460mm and 225mm.
  • Select the top internal horizontal line and give an offset of 5280mm and 225mm.
  • The 225mm which shows the thickness of the wall.
  • Trim the unecessory lines and select the middle wall line and give an offset of 1200mm which shows the front the and back door.
  • Now moving on to the elevation.
  • Use construction line for the projection draw a horizontal line which attaching both lines then trim the non required lines.
  • Select the horizontal line which we have recently drawn and give an offset of 900mm, 3000mm, 3000mm, 600mm.
  • For the windows select the horizontal line and give an offset of 600mm from the top and the bottom for the both windows lower and upper one.
  • Create the left side window as 2700 X 1800 and right side window as 1700 X 1800.
  • Then create a window frame which is 75mm, mullion as 50mm and for the door frame which 100mm.
  • After that copy the Door and window to the 1st floor then creat the four step and our elevation plan is ready.
  • Create layers which is floor, wall, window frame, mullion, glass, door frame, projection wall, door panel and steps.
  • Give a different color to each layer.
  • Copy the plan and elevation then paste besides the orignal one.
  • Use boundry command on wall to make it region accept door and window.
  • First create a rectangle over the plan which is floor then extrude it -100mm.
  • Now use extrude command on wall and extrude it upto an height of 3000mm.
  • Then create as rectangle at bottom of window and door space then use extrude command to extrude upto an height of 600mm.
  • Set the UCS at top face of wall and create rectangle at window and door space then use extrude command and extrude it -600mm.
  • Same procedure follow for back door also.
  • Use union command to join the all the wall and form a combine unit.
  • Now select the 3D rotate command and rotate in Z-axis 90 degree.
  • Set the UCS at face of elevation type plan command now we are going to work on door, window and projection wall.
  • Now use boundry command on window frame and subtract the the mullion and glass region from it.
  • Then use boundry command on mullions, glass, door frame, door panel and projection wall.
  • Use extrude command on window frame and extrude it by 100mm, just like that extrude mullion as 75mm, glass-12mm, door frame-100mm, door panel-40mm and projection wall 900mm.
  • After all the extrusion select the window and door then copy it to the extrude wall.
  • Use move command on window frame and move it 75mm back same procedure follow for mullion move it back 50mm, glass-25mm, door frame 75mm and door panel 60mm.
  • Copy the door and paste it to the back door empty space.
  • Now set USC in the world then use layoff command and off the all layer and create rectagle and extrude it -600mm.
  • Then use layon command on the all the layers use union command on wall and recently drawn plinth.
  • In plinth area we are going to provide some detail on it for that copy the floor rectangle and create a small rectangle in Z-axis which height is 600mm create circles on it then use boundry command and make it region.
  • Use explode command on floor rectangle and remove back line and then use join command on all three lines, select the small region rectangle use extrude command on it select the path and extrude it.
  • Move that detailing at the bottom of walls.
  • Select the wall, window frame, mullion, glass, door frame, door panel and projection wall copy that to the next floor.
  • Use layoff commad on 1st floor wall now create a rectangle inner to the wall and extrude it -100mm now use layon command to turn on the wall.
  • Then use union command to union the walls.
  • Set the UCS at the front wall face and create a rectangle which length in door size but the height is more then extrude and use subtract comand and subtract it from the plinth portion.
  • Then come back to the plane create a four step use boundry command on it and extrude it 150mm, 300mm, 450mm and 600mm and use union commnad on it.
  • Move that stairs and place it to the proper position of it.
  • Extrude the 1st floor wall 900mm more which show parapet boundry.
  • Now Set the UCS at 1st floor front wall face and create a rectangle and extrude it 1200mm which is slab of balcony and create another rectangle attaching to the top balcony slab and then copy to the lines of balcony slab.
  • Use the same procedure we follow for detailing of plinth which is eplode the rectangle the use join command and extrude it then paste it to the balcony.
  • After that use union command on it.
  • Now, for the more detailing rectangles on the wall and extrude it 75mm and create small rectangle on parapet wall extrude it at an approx length and use array command set 1 row and 22 columns after that use subtract command the punch holes where created on the walls.
  • Use different color on every detailing.
  • Now moving forward to the rendering portion.
  • Create rectangle which is bigger than plan of building and extrude it 75mm which represents the ground.
  • Create circle and extrude upto an height of 1500mm then use camera command set the camera on centre of it select name it as cam1, select height as 1500mm, set lens as 35mm.
  • Delete that extruded circle.
  • Then click on Visualize go to the sunstatus and click on to the keep the deffault light turn on.
  • Set the Sky background and illumination then set on full shadows.
  • Create another circle on ground and extrude it much greater height and click on create light then click on Distant set it to the top of recently extruded circle and point out to the building.
  • Then delete the extruded circle.
  • Select the Navswheel select the proper possition and height for another camera and set that posstion as cam2.
  • Now click on Material browser and assigned the materials to the every part of the builing as per requirement.
  • Then click on render turn on the render environment and we can another parameters also in that setting.
  • Select the render size and level of rendering and type RR command for rendering and all the procedure is done.
