AIM : To estimate the heat generation and SOC of a battery for a given drive cycle

Blocks used

Battery: Generic battery block is used

Signal builder: The drive cycle is build using the signal builder which is then given as the input to the controlled current source.

Controlled current source : It is used to drive the battery.It produces a current output according to the value given at its input.

entropic heat is twice as the Joules heat

R=2milli ohm

Average time = total time /26 = 35.1/26 = 1.35

Average current = total current/26 = -24.7184/26 = -0.95 A

Average joule heat = -0.95^2*1.35*2*10^-3=2.42*10^-3 J

Average heat generated = average joule heat + 2(average joule heat)

= 2.42*10^-3+2*(2.42*10^-3) =7.26*10^-3 J

Result :

The SOC is 100% since charging.
