Project 2 - 2D meshing on the instrumental Panel

AIM : To check for the geometrical errors and mesh with the given element Quality criteria for given cad model.

1. GEOMETRY CLEANUP

2. GENERATING MID SURFACE

3. ENTERING GIVEN ELEMENT QUALITY CRITERIA

1. GEOMETRY CLEANUP :

• In this given cad model topology has been performed at first to get a clear image of given half ip panel cad model
• After topology the goemetry was inspected using check geometry to find the geometrical errors in cad model
• Using check geometry the identified errors were fixed such as deformed faces and triple cons.

2. GENERATING MID SURFACE :

• After geometry cleanup mid surface was carried out using casting
• Finally mid surface generation is succesfull.

3. ENTERING GIVEN ELEMENT QUALITY CRITERIA :

• After generating mid surface the given quality criteria has been entered.
• Mesh generation should be based on the given quality parameters and it must satisfies the given parameters.

4. MESH GENERATION :

RESULT : SINCE THE FINAL MESH OF INSTRUMENTAL PANEL CAD MODEL SATISFIES ALL THE GIVEN ELEMENT QUALITY CRITERIA HENCE THE MESH GENERATION IS SUCESSFUL.
