route the wire harness on back door and prepare drawing using CATIA V5

OBJECTIVE

• Route the wire harness for car back door
• prepare flatten view drawing in CATIA V5
• Apply all packaging rules and industrial best price
• Apply protection covering as reqvired

Pacaging rules and assumption made in the project

• avoid harness routing and clippng in blind zone
• provide additional slack to the acoording to surroundings
• provide enogh clearence for the wire harness
• provide guiding channel if reqvired
• enough clamps to be provided to ensure positive clearence with surrounding
• distance btween two clamp in same branch to 200 mm
• use nrubber gorment for protection and vibration
• branch length should be minimum 50 mm
• minimum distance btween clip and branch ppoint should be 23 mm
• maximum branches on a single point should be 4

1. Download the back door that wire harness need to be mounted

2. Create context assembly

3. Define electrical devices in electrical part design

a) define inter connection connector , connector

b) use support command in furr tree clips

4. Bundle segment

create the wire harness in reqvired positions

5. Use flattening command to flatten the wire harness
