AIM

To route the wiring harness on the given tailgate assembly and prepare the flatten view drawing.

DESIGN CRITERIA AND PACKAGING ASSUMPTIONS

Wiring harness routing shall provide ease in manufacturing accessiblity,easy removal and easy maintenance of attached equipment and wiring harness.
Routing through small structural holes and opening shall be avoided,minimize chaffing and handling of the wiring harness during installution.
Avoid the harness routing and clipping in the blind zone of the operator during harness assembly or in service.
Routing shall offer protection against possoble damage through common misuses such as being hand hold and temporary support for test equipment.
Provide addition slask to the harness according to the surrounding and harness bending requirement.
Ensure the riuting meets the clearnce requirement with differint surrounding part.
Avoid routing over the bolts near to the bolted .It may damage the harness or puncture the harness.Keep harness away form panel mounting screw.
Avoid harness routing near sharp edages if not possible provid protection to the harness.
The maximum distance between two clip on a straight branch is 200mm.
Provide clips and clamps if the harness is going to bend at multiple location.
The use of too meny shett-metal drackets should be avoided.
The brance length should be more than 50mm.
Min distance between clip and pranching point to be 25mm.
Min distance between two branch breckouts should be 50mm.

ROUTING THE WIRING HARNESS

First we have to consider the components we need for routing here we are only considering the tailight and the number plate light.
Here we are considering 2 defferend type of connectors as follows.
