Project 2 - Installing BWAPP – web app on your local machine

1.Installing bWAPP

Download from website

usning below commands to start /install bwapp

/var/www/html

chmod -R 777 bWAPP

service apache2 start

service mysql start

mysql -u root -p

use mysql;

create user 'bug'@'localhost' identified by'bee';

grant all privileges on bWAPP.* to 'bug'@'localhost' identified by 'bee';

exit

then go to mozilla and enter localhost/bwapp/insatll.php

insatll metasploit2 in virtual machine

username = msfadmin

password = msfadmin

using ifconfig to knoq the ip of metasploit

then in kali download necess

dpkg -i necess

systemctl start necess.service

syatemctl status necss.service

then go to mozilla

127.0.0.1:8834 to access and configure necess

in scan area give ip of metasploit to scan and get result
