Project 1 - COVID-19 Vaccinations Trend Analysis

Aim:

This project aims to analyse data in detail on COVID-19 Vaccinations based on countries, Date, Count, Vaccine names and source.

Introduction:

The main objective of this project is to analyse the data on, COVID-19 Vaccinations. Through the Analysis of data, we can find out some important insights.

  • We can find out how many people are completely vaccinated.
  • Total vaccinations by each year and then by country.

Methodology:

Step 1: Data cleaning

In data cleaning process first the data is cleaned from the Power Query Editor in Power BI as the dataset is not cleaned and includes some missing values, so with the help of the duplicates function, the data is cleaned and replaced the null values with 0. Then the data types are changed to whole numbers for better readability of data and then start working on it.

Step 2: Data interpretation

In this data interpretation step, some important information about the data set can be found.

  • The data set was almost clear and completed.
  • The null values are replaced with 0.
  • The data types are changed to whole numbers
  • There is a total of 86512 rows and 15 columns.

Step 3: Visualization

In visualization process Power BI Desktop helps to make graphs and charts.

Analysis (Data sheets pertaining to it):

In observation found some interesting points that are mentioned below.

  • According to data on people fully vaccinated in the year.
  • The dataset available is from Dec 2020 to Mar 2022
  • Daily vaccination Report of different countries is shown
  • Total Highest Daily vaccination is in Jul 2021.
  • Top 10 vaccinated countries are shown.
  • India leads with 116 Billion
  • The world map of top 10 vaccinated countries is shown.
  • A tree map of top 10 Vaccines is shown.
  • Country- wise Vaccines are shown along with the total number of vaccines.
  • Top 10 Sources are shown

Insights:

  • In conclusion, we can take a look at the final Report for further analysis.
  • We can see the top 10 sources.
  • Countries by fully vaccination etc.

Recommendations:

  • We can collect good datasets for analysis.
  • We can analyse the data of the overall world.
  • Like this dataset we can perform operations with various categories, city-wise or region-wise.
  • We can work on large datasets and analyse them with the proper format of the chart.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, we can look at the final Report for further analysis. As we can see in the Report the Daily vaccination Report, Top 10 Fully vaccinated countries, Top 10 Vaccines, Country- wise Vaccines and Top 10 Sources.
