Project 1 - COVID-19 Vaccinations Trend Analysis
Aim: -
Covid-19 Trend Analysis project aims to give the detail analysis of Vaccination details across each Country, Peoples Fully vaccinated, Peoples Partial vaccinated and types of Vaccine using PowerBI.
Introduction: -
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 virus. Most people infected with the virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. However, some will become seriously ill and require medical attention.
The best way to prevent and slow down transmission is to be well informed about the disease and how the virus spreads. Protect yourself and others from infection by staying at least 1 metre apart from others, wearing a properly fitted mask, and washing your hands or using an alcohol-based rub frequently. Get vaccinated when it’s your turn and follow local guidance.
Problem Statement: -
Tracking the progress of the Covid-19 vaccine for the given countries that the people are fully vaccinated, partially vaccinated and types of vaccine used and people vaccinated per hundred across each country.
Methodology: -
Methods to analyse Data
Step1: Raw Data Collection and Cleaning the Data
The required data are collected and the data are shaped by removing the unnecessary columns, renaming the columns, promoting the column headers, changing the column data type, null values are replaced by 0 and column quality & distributions are increased by removing the anonymous data.
Step 2: Modelling the Data
The required relationships between the table are created, partially vaccinated measure is created from total vaccinations to people fully vaccinated to identify the people who are partially vaccinated and the goals are identified to visualize the analysed reports.
Step 3: Visualization
Using the Visualization pane, the respective charts are created to visualize the data to give the analysed report of the vaccination data.
Analysis (Data sheets pertaining to it): -
Data analysis report are listed below
- Data vaccinations of the countries are analysed which containing 86512 rows and 15 columns.
- Total vaccination details of the given countries are represented as cards of total vaccine, people vaccinated, fully vaccinated, people partially vaccinated and daily vaccination of the people to calculate vaccination rate of the people.
- People daily vaccinated vs fully vaccinated are represented as bar graph across each country to identify the countries which is utilizing the vaccination daily in proper routine and promoting the people to vaccinate all the doses of vaccine.
- Vaccination percentage of the people fully and partially vaccinated from total vaccinations are identified using the donut charts.
- Maximum People vaccinated are identified across each country using the clustered bar charts.
- Type of vaccine and no of vaccines used by each country are grouped by using treemap.
- Vaccination of the people fully and partially vaccinated across each country is identified using the area chart.
- Total vaccinations produced and full vaccinations used by the people across each year are set as key performance indicator.
- Top5 type of vaccines produced are identified from total vaccinations.
Insights: -
We can see the current scenario of the vaccinations details by using each chart.
Top 20 Countries vaccinated on daily basis, ratio of fully and partially vaccinated against total vaccinations produced.
Top 10 countries vaccinated count and types of vaccine used by each country.
Total vaccinations against total vaccinations per hundred and top5 vaccines produced from total vaccines.
Recommendations: -
- We can collect good datasets for analysis.
- We can analyze the data of the overall world.
- Like this dataset we can perform operations with various categories, city-wise or region-wise.
Conclusion: -
We can conclude that China and India are the two topmost countries vaccinating daily on the regular basis across all the analysis. Pfizer/BioNTech, Sinopharm/Beijing is the vaccine used by the maximum countries and less than 30% of vaccines only vaccinated against the total vaccines produced. Only 20% of people are fully vaccinated. Finally to avoid the Covid spread the necessary actions need to be taken to give the awareness of the vaccines.
