Project 1 : CFD Meshing for Tesla Cyber Truck
Aim/Objective-
Study the 3D CFD meshing on Tesla Truck.
Procedure-
Target lengths for the different parts of a model are as follows:
Body - 4 mm
Lights - 1 mm
Rims and Tyres - 2 mm
Window - 3 mm
Wind Tunnel meshing is the same as the BMW car Model.
1. topographical geometry cleanup
2. In the "cons and faces" menu, fill in all gaps and add new surfaces.
3. Eliminate all single cons and reverify any existing triple cons.
4. To prevent mesh failure, eliminate any minor incisions and surfaces.
5. Geometry tests to confirm the existence of single, double, and triple cons.
6. create a PID and assign components based on their names
7. Mesh the components in accordance with the target length and element type.
8. After meshing all available surfaces go to the volume meshing tab
9. Delete the extra volume which is not required.
10. Checks the available volume and then does CFD meshing.
11. Checks none of the 3D meshing volumes is remaining.
Learning Outcomes-
More familiar with Anasa tools.
Result-
Able to perform 2D and 3D meshing on a different part of the same geometry.
Conclusion-
Explore new tools in meshing and be able to use them effectively
