The Women in STEM

Key analysis

> Although many women are majoring in stem most of them are not able to reach post doctoral level . Many of them are stopping at masters level .

> After graduation many women are working in unrealted feilds

this low rate of women in education and profession in STEM areas is due to the following reasons

1. Marraige , many women get married early this creats a halt to their professional growth

2.Children and family are also major reasons

3. More women are seen in biological and physical sciences that technical sciences because , women are not mostly encouraged in the technical feilds like computer sciences

4. Women are paid less in STEM feilds compared to men , this provides less incentives for women to take up jobs in these feilds
