Challenge Project 01

1). Route the Wiring harness on Given Engine and Prepare flattened view drawing in CATIA V5. Application of all Packaging rules, Industry best practices studied in this course shall be demonstrated in design.

Apply Protection coverings as required.

Ans). So this challenge contain an engine surface model where i route the wiring harness. As we all know that engine contain various electrical parts for aapropriate and pricise fuctionality for engine.

Electrical devices like spark ignition, cam shaft sensor, exuast sensor and ect.,

Following are the steps which i follow to complete the challenge:

• Start with download the stp/igs files of connectors, clips, support parts.
• Then ceate them in cad part and converted those parts in electical parts in Electrical Part Design workbench.
• Then placed the electrical define parts on engine surface model as per required position.
• Then finally route the wiring harness from interconnection connector to all the other connectors with the application clips.
• After routing the wiring harness i am add protective covering to required bundles.

Below in the image shows the bundle continuity those are fully connected.

NOTE:

Here i complete the engine wiring harness but while creating the Flatten on engine harness assy is not happening. And then i atten mentor session were the mentoror said it is a catia issue
