2) Using Revit and the project used from week 6 to 8 prepare a schedule for the following
a. Walls
b. Doors
c. Windows
d. Material – Concrete/Wood

2nd ans)

Aim:-We need to use the revit software and the project from week 6 to 8 prepare a schedule for the given things

Procedure:-

Step 1:-Open an existing file from the file option

Step 2:-Now using the view toolbar , select the schedules option and click on the quantities option to schedule the properties for the items. Now in the popup window select the components which are desried to be scheduled like walls,doors,columns,etc..

Step 3:-On the othe popup set the proportions like volume,area,etc.., Then a schedule will be set

Step 4:-Similarly we need to make another schedule for windows , concrete, etc..

windows schedule

sul

Doors schedule

Walls schedule

Result:-Got the desired result

3) Using Revit Calculate area and volume of each room in the model with appropriate room tags applied to each room. Prepare a schedule report for area and volume of each room.

3rd ans)

Aim:-to use revit and Calculate area and volume of each room in the model with appropriate room tags applied to each room. Prepare a schedule report for area and volume of each room.

Procedure:-

Step 1:-We need to open an existing file and select quantities from view

Step 2:-Select the rooms option from the window popup

Step 3:-Now add the properties like area, volume

Step 4:-Each room schedule for area and volume has been created

Result:-The desired result has been done

4) Using the same schedule using the unit cost rate for materials available in the internet, prepare total cost of materials used in the project
a. Total Cost of Materials
b. Individual Material Take off

4th ans)

Aim:-To use the same schedule using unit cost rate for materials available in the internet and to prepare total cost of materials used in the project

Procedure:-

Step 1:-We need to open an already existing revit file and then use schedule option from view toolbar to select the material take off option

Step 2:-Now we need to click ok on the popup and we need to set the formula for the total cost based on the material cost and the schedule will be created

Step 3:-Now similar to the above step we need to prepare a schedule for wall material take off and other components

Result:-we got the desired result
