Hood introduction-

A car hood is the metal part that cover front engine & batteryand other parts in our car.Hood gives easy access to the engine & other parts of the car to repair & maintanance of the car.

The term Hood is a north america term,the term primarly used in america and canada.Hood comes from the Old english word HOD which means a hood,a soft covering of the Head.Hood is Used by the British english speakers.

A car BONNET is britsih term,used primarily in England, Ireland, India, New Zealand, Australia, etc. Bonnet comes from the Old French word bonet, which means cloth used as a headdress.

HOOD OUTER PANEL-

Hood outer panel is a sheet metal part.Hood skin is given by the styleing team to design the hood by certain parameter such as pedestrian safety etc.
