Hood design-Week 2

 

                   The hood compartment is help to provide the engine from the damages. Inside the desigs are help to reduce the impact to the passenger during accident and increase the stenght of the material

Comments we use for making this hood

*Offset surface for making the same surface from particular distance what we need

*Offset curve in face is help to make a proper outer and inner surface for a hood 

*Trim sheet is help to trim the sheet metal what the shape dimension we need 

*Face bland and Edge bland are help to smoothing the curves and edges

*Sew comment is help to merging the surface without any gaps

*Mirror geometry is help to mirror the total body to other plain 

Emboss 

   *Emboss is the comment we use to increase the strength of the material without increase the size of the material 

Hood Assembly 

      *Mastic is the method is help to connect the outer and inner panel. For this process we want to maintain atleast 5mm distance from outer panel to inner panel

       *Hemming is the method to join the inner and outer panel without any cracks or damages
