Fender Design - Wheel Arch Challenge

Fender Wheel Arc Challenge :

Aim : To calculate the wheel arch gap at the required points and check whether the car passes the European standards.

Main Body :

Following are the points of focus or areas of study for which we are gonna check the linear and radial distances which we will denote as L,R respectively.

They are A,B,C,D,E points of study.

A : L : 9.9 mm

A : R : 32.5 mm

B : L : 10mm

B : R : 49mm

C : L : 0.11mm

C : R : 43.5mm

D : L : 2.8mm

D : R : 47.2mm

E : L : 5.9mm

E : R : 52.9mm

Conclusion :

The areas with distances greater than 10mm are valid and safe according to European standards and ones less than that are invalid or unsafe.
