Fender is the US english term for the part of an automobile that frames a wheel well.

Primary purpose is to prevent Sand, Mud, Rocks, Liquids.

Mountings on Fender:-

2)A Pillar

3)Sill

4)Cowl

5)Drip

CAD Design:-

1st Downloaded the .igs file in catia and converted in .CATPart file.

(Convert skin data in to sheetmetal)

After Opening .catpart file in catia

Start>Shape>Generative Shape Design>Selcted fender>Join=giving value 0.1

Selecting Boundary>Parallel Curve>Smooth curve>creating Points on curve.

And attached all points together for creating flanges.

For Drip Area

Sweep>Line>with reference surface>Selecting Edge>Selecting Reference Surface>Angle 29deg>length 9mm>Repeating Process for again Sweep.

at an angle 90deg. with length8mm. Again Sweep with 70deg downward 20mm length Again Sweep with 90deg horizontally 20mm length.

After creating sweep. Joined all the Sweep with 0.003value.

Aply the fillet all the corners with 3mm radius

After that need to create hole and Embosses

Insert>Axis system>by seting x and y direction>Sketch>Plane>Offset lines with 2mm. fix them and
