Fender Design Challenge

FENDEER:

the main purpose of the fender is to prevent sand ,mud , rocks liquids

road spray from being thrown into the air by the rotation tire

DESIGN OF DRIP AREA MOUNTING :

it is the important mounting of fender

it is connect with the engine compartment

the drip area is have to initially leave 200-300mm for cowl wheel

for placing the head lamp , have been leave at 150mm at front while designing the fender

cowl top part consist wiper mmotor and its instruments

two darts are added on the longer side of the drip area in order tonprovide stiffness and adds the strength of parts

its hepls the fender to not to vibrate and impact the force outside of the fender duting motion of vehicle

embossing are provided on the mounting to strengthen

DESIGN OF SILL MOUNTING AREA :

sill is the panel directly below the bottom of dorr supporting the floor

it may be used to combine the floot and the body

the bottom end of the fender is mounted on the sill mounting position is desinge with hole and emboss

M5 fasters are used to fix the fender on the sill body

DESING OF BUMPER MOUNTING AREA :

bumper mounting area used to fix the plastic bumber to the fender with the help of fastener

in this side only providing emboss and hole becouse of small size

DESIGN OF A-PILLER MOUNTING AREA :

a-piller is a structural that combines the body to the roof

this makes the side of the windshield rest

front fenter are fastened to the a-piller to form a robust structure

DESIGN OF BAFFLE MOUNTING AREA :

it is the clip fit type of mmounting on the inner side of the fendr arch over the tyre

it protects the car engine compartment and pedestrins from causing injuries chip out of debris on the road

they are mounted on the fender by using a special type of locking clips

APPLYING THICKNESS:

final sew the all sheet metai parts

thickeness of 0.75 mm inward , all sheet metal components
