Week 11 - Project - A pillar Design with Master Section
AIM:- To create an A pillar design along with the engineering feautures given in the master section. DESCRIPTION:- Picture of the sketches with Sketch solving status’s geometry tab. Picture of the Detailed tree structure. Picture of the 3D CAD. Steps followed:- 1)Checked the given Class A surface for any discontinuity surface. 2)Created the tooling axis. 3)Done Draft analysis for Given class A with created tooling axis. 4)Created Class B surface which is offset from class A. 5)After created Class B surface, Created Class C surface on the ClassA with respect to the tooling axis and reference surface. 6)Joined the Class A with created C surface. 7)Finally trimmed the Class B with Class(A&C)join. 8)Used boundary command to check the closed surface. 9)Draft analysed the created Closed A pillar and checked it with master section thickness. 10) Created the seperate Main tooling axis & side core tooling axis for doghouse with respect to its mastersection. 11)Created the doghouse with respect to the mastersection. 12)Did draft analysis with both Main tooling axis and Side core tooling axis.
