PLASTICS TRIMS DOOR ARM DESIGN

AIM :

To Design the door arm & Analyse the draft tooling direction.

Objective :

• To design the B-Surface of door arm by given A-Surface.
• To Analyse the draft tooling direction for plastics

Door Trim design for the reference,

A-Surface Door Arm rest,

• B-Surface created by the A-Surface and the thickness of part is 2.5 MM
• Below images which shows the different orientation of the door arm rest

Draft Analysis :

• The below image which shows the tooling direction and the draft analysis of 3 deg.
• The images which tells all the surface which is in green color are more than 3 deg.

Conclusion :

Thus the Design & draft analysis of Door arm rest is completed sucessfully.
