Creating Walls, Partition walls and Floors for a residential layout using REVIT
Aim
To draw the 3D structural model of the residential building
Procedure
By using the revit software create the plan and then by using the commands to create floor
Architecture-floor-pick line and then by using the pick line option we can create the floor and for changing the floor thickness
property box-edit type-structure-floor thickness
2 AIM
To create the wall layout and to change the wall type thickess
PROCEDURE
To create the wall type and thickness
property box-select the wall -edit type-change the wall thickess and wall layer from the property box
3 AIM
To create the model elements in the first floor and then copy to the first floor
PROCEDURE
To create this Architecture-componet-place a component in the floor plan by selecting the required dimensions and then place the components in the floor plan
To copy theground floor component to the first floor by selecting the entire ground floor plan and then by using
copy to clipboard-and then assign to the selected levels the components are placed in first floor

To create the residential building in the revit and then create the rooms for that residential building

To create the residential building and then to create the necessary components to the residential building
PROCEDURE

For doors and window
Architecture-door/window and then click the required size for select different types of doors and windows go to load family-residential-load the doors and windows
For kitchen
Architecture-component-place a component- load and the select the special equipment for the kitchen accessories
For dining room
Architecture-component-place a component- load and the select component- furniture-table
For rest room
Architecture-component-place a component- load family-plumbing and then fix the bathroom elemets
