AIM=To create the given direct distance entry method and isometric views use in AutoCAD, using the direct distance entry methods and the line, rectangular and dimention drawing tools.

INTRODUCTIO

Direct distance entry method:- it is another popular method use for drawing diffrent shapes /geometries in AutoCAD. Direct distance entry method enables to user to draw an object by simple pointing the cursor in the desired direction and entering the required distance in the command line.

Rectangular command:- First enter the "rec",after then enter the rectangular specify first corner point (a,b) and then enter the rec tangular specify other corner point (@x,y) it is closing point.

Isometric view:- First take the command "d" enter and then select the isometric views . after then use F5 for change the isometric view to left or right.

PROCEDURE:-

STARTING AutoCAD SOFTWARE:-

-Go to start menu ,select autocad 2022

-Click on start drawing

-In the command line type in: STARTUP [ENTER]

-Enter now value of startup:

-go to application manu and select new

-In the creat new drawing dilog box we select the imperialsystem in the start from scratch option.

-Next we select the decimal, unit system from the 'advanced setup 'option.

-Set the limite by entering LIMITS in the command tab. The lower left corner is specifide as 0,0; and upper right corner is specifide as 100,100.

[NOTE: The above procedure is followed each time a new drawing is to be created.]

DRAWING:- C.S. OF LOAD WEARING WALL OVER SPREAD FOOTING

USING DIRECT DISTANCE ENTRY METHOD

1:- Using command LINE

2:- start first point throw Y axis 0.25

3:- next point X axis 0.20

4:- next point Y axis 0.40

5:- next point X axis 0.05

6:- next point Y axis 0.40

7:- next point -ve X axis 1.15

8:- next point X axis 0.30

9:- next point Y axis 0.15

10:- next point X axis 0.30

11:- next point Y axis 0.15

12:- next point X axis 0.30

13:- next point Y axis 0.15

14:- next point X axis 0.30

15:- next point Y axis 0.15

16:- next point Y axis 0.05

17:- next point Y axis 1.0

18:- next point X axis 0.30

after then come -Y axis as usual.

DRAWING:- C.S. ISOLATED FOOTING

USING DIRECT DISTANCE ENTRY METHOD

1:- Using command line

2:- take fist line -ve X axis 1.0

3:- take next line Y axis 0.15

4:- next point @0.38,0.25

5:- next line Y axis 1.60

6:- next line X axis 0.04

7:- next line -Y axis 0.20

8:- next line -Y axis 0.20 (as same doing 8 times more)

9:- next line -X axis 0.38

10:- next line Y axis 0.04

as it is same as right side.

DRAWING:- LINE DIGRAM OF A TWO BEDROOM BUILDING

USING DIRECT DISTANCE ENTRY METHOD

1:- Using command line

2:- take first line -X axis 3.60

3:- next line Y axis 3.60

4:- next line X axis 3.60

5:- next line Y axis 0.30 ( same command using 2 times more)

6:- next line X axis 1.0

7:- next line -Y axis 0.30 (same command using 2 times more)

8:- next line X axis 4.20

9:- next line -Y axis 3.60

10:- next line -X axis 4.20

11:- same as point 5,6,7

12:- re start line, point (2) Y axis 0.90

13:- re start line, point (4) -Y axis 1.9

DRAWING:- C.S. OF LOAD BEARING WALL SHOWING FOUNDATION DETAILS

USING DIRECT DISTENCE ENTRY METHOD

1:- Using command line

2:- Take first line -X axis 0.90

3:- Next line Y axis 0.45

4:- Next line X axis 0.10

5:- Next line Y axis 0.40

6:- Next line X axis 0.05

7:- Next line Y axis 0.30

8:- Next line X axis 0.05

9:- Next line Y axis 0.60

10:- Next line X axis 0.05

11:- Next line Y axis 1.00

12:- Next line X axis 0.30.

using before all same only change Y axis to -Y axis.

DRAWING:- ISOMETRIC VIEW OF STEPS

USING DIRECT DISTANCE ENTRY METHO ( IN ISOMETRIC VIEW)

1:- Using command line

2:- Take isometric top line 1.0

3:- Take isometric left line 0.15

4:- Take isometric top line 0.30

5:- Take isometric top line 1.00

6:- Take isometric top line 0.30

7:- Take isometric top line 1.00

8:- start new line point (6) using isometric left line 0.15

same procidure using 4 times more.
