Challenge 4 : Concept Modelling of Alloy Wheel
Title of the project: Alloy wheel of the car.
Objective: To prepare the model of the alloy wheel of the car using the alias software.
Introduction: By using the various tools that are used in the alias software designing the alloy wheel of the car and understanding the different methodologies.
Description: Concept modelling (CAS) is the modelling where the 3d data starts to take shape. It is crucial part of the processin the designing where it all depend on the visualizing the model, how the design has cameout, the shape and feel of it.
It starts from the point where the design has came to the point of finalization.
Building with overlays: Setting overlays within a certain dimension box in three particular views. Which can be adjusted and aligned to get the right fit.
Construction options: It is used to control all the parameters and boundries in which the entire modelling process will take place.Some of the construction options are

3.CATIA V5
4.Pro E
5.Solid works etc.
Modelling approaches and Surface Distribution: The modelling approach differ from model to model, and there is no certain way to achieve the given design it is depending upon the person's thinking in the mind to achive the model.
Conclusion: Completed the designing of the alloy wheel of the car.
