BENCHMARKING: Benchmarking is a process of measuring the performance of a company’s products, services, or processes against those of another business considered to be the best in the industry, aka “best in class”. The point of benchmarking is to identify internal opportunities for improvement.

Observation: I have observed some of the car’s in the present market that meet’s the requirements of Mr.D.S. Pughazhyendhi.They are

The above table consists of some cars that are compact SUV(sport utility vehicle) models, compact SUV’s are nothing but smaller SUV’s. A compactsport utility vehicle or compact SUV is a class of small sport utility vehicles that is larger than mini SUVs, but smaller than mid-size SUVs.Manyrecent vehicles labelled as compact SUVs are technically compact crossovers and are built on the platform of a compact/C-segment passenger car.

NISSAN KICKS:

The Nissan Kicks compact SUV comes with a 1.5-litre Diesel engine that offers good refinement and excellent fuel economy. The Kicks also offers a classy cabin with thoughtful features and high-class materials.

Pros and cons of nissan kicks;

Pros (Positives);

• Kicks has good ground clearence, which helps us a good ride in uneven roads also.
• Around view monitor and cameras are some of the best things we can see in the nissan kicks, comes with 4 cameras around the car,which helps in a tight parking situation,and in traffic as well.
• Boot space is very large compared to other compact suv’s…it is 400 ltrs.
• Dualtone interior with carbonfiber finish.
• Rain sensing vipers…. etc

Cons (negatives);

• No all wheel drive.
• No navigation.

HYUNDAI VENUE:

Hyundai offers its sub-4m SUV with a choice of three BS6 engine options: two petrol and one diesel. The 1.2-litre petrol engine is mated to a 5-speed manual and has an output of 83PS/114Nm. It is offered only on the E and S variants of the Venue.

Pros and cons of hyundai venue;

Pros(positives);

• Rare ac vents.
• Wireless mobile charging.
• Live vehicle tracking.
• 7speed dct automatic gearbox.

Cons(negatives);

• Evnethough a fiveseater due to less space three adults will struggle to sit comfortly for a long ride.
• Smaller head space.
• Smaller wheel base.
• Suspension is a bit harder during offroad ride.

MAHINDRAXUV300:

The all new mahindra xuv300 gets some of the best-in-class segment first features like dual zone climate control with rear ac vents, disc brakes, smart steering with 7-airbags for safety mode.The XUV300 is a 5seater SUV and has a length of 3995 mm, width of 1821 mm and a wheelbase of 2600 mm.

 Pros and cons of mahindra xuv 300

Pros (positives);

• Heated orvms-Heated mirrors do not fog up- very useful during early morning drives or in monsoons.
• Front packing sensors.
• Two zone climate control.
•  Safety features are very good.

Cons (negatives);

• Boot space is very low.
• Low ground clearence.
• While safety features are plenty, the basic version donot get it.
• No automatic transmisson in the basic version.

MARUTHI SUZUKI VITARA BREEZA:

 The Breeza is a small SUV that is no longer than four metres in length. Yet, its design is such that it looks very macho and has oodles of street presence. This is due to the conventional boxy styling that can be found on the Grand Vitara that was sold in India many years ago. Moreover, the sleek headlamps, the stylish grille, huge bumper, and the large greenhouse give the small SUV a lot of street cred.

Pros and cons of vitara breeza;

Pros (positives);

• Spacious interior
• Telescopic steering wheel.
• Rear ac vents.
• Certified ARAI 24.3 kmpl mileage

Cons (negatives);

• Not all brakes are disk brakes
• Lesser boot space
• No automatic gear shift in basic version.

 

SUGGESTION:

            From my side I would like to suggest nissan kicksbecausethe national highway traffic safety administration gave the  Kicks four out of five stars in the rollover test. The Insurance Institute for Highway safety gave theKicks the highest rating of Good in all six crashworthiness tests.
