Benchmarking
BENCHMARKING
AIM :
To suggest the big sized cars under a budget value
with advantages.
BIW :
BIW means 'BODY IN WEIGHT' describes the safety.
Customer need a safety while driving instead of engine ,power and comfort. Therefore, the body must be designed strongly and analyse the crash testing in softwares.
BENCHMARKING :
Benchmarking means a refering. For example: if we design a roof of a car ,first we check about the car
1.Which type of car is today's trend
2.Which type of car to be design (SUV ,MUV ,Sedan.etc...)
3.If we use SUV means,we have to refer the previous section cars and our opponent company SUV cars.
VEHICLE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS :
1.Predesign and development
2.Design engineering
3.Development engineering
4.SOP and vehicle at market.
There are two times benchmarking process held in predesign and development.
QUESTION :
Mr.Pugazhyendhii needs a big car for his family under
10 lakhs.

SUV(Sports utility vehicle) cars. Pugazhyendhii also
need that type of car .So , I suggest
1.TATA NEXON
2.NISSAN MAGNITE
3.SUZUKI BREZZA
4.MAHINDRA XUV 300
| ENGINE | NO. OF SEATS | MILEAGE | COST | ||
|
TATA NEXON |
1497 cc | 5 | 17 kmpl |
|
|
| NISSAN MAGNITE |
999 cc | 5 | 19 kmpl | 8.3 lakh | |
| SUZUKI BREZZA |
1462 cc | 5 | 21 kmpl | 8 lakh | |
| MAHINDRA XUV 300 |
1197 cc | 5 | 18 kmpl |
6 lakh |
CONCLUSION :
I suggest a four best SUV vehicles .In this four ,I personally prefer suzuki BREZZA, because it gives high mileage than other vehiches and give each comfort and performance (of power) within Mr.pugazhyendhii budget.
