Benchmarking

Hey,

Mr.D.S.Pughazhyendhii, How are you? Today I am your car advisor.

Firstly, we talk about Benchmarking,

Benchmarking:

Benchmarking is a process that involves in comparison between the products which are in the market in the same segment. In Automotive Industry it is the initial stage of developing a vehicle. The competitive benchmarking was done considering the Process Benchmarking which helps in internal process optimization, Strategic Benchmarking which deals with models and finally, Performance Benchmarking that insight into the performance indicators to measure their own pros and cons.

As per the requirements you have mentioned previously, Mr.D.S.Pughazhyendhii I suggest some of the cars below with different aspects on the price scale of 8 to 10 Laks:

Tata Punch:

When it comes to the safety aspect Tata Motors cars are the trusted cars in India. The Tata Punch also scored 5 Stars in the Global NCAP crash test, as Mr.D.S.Pughazhyendhii goes with his family from Bangalore to Madurai every month. It is also a Sub Compact SUV with dashings looks and with a good aerodynamics.

  • Elevated driving position, which has a tall seating position
  • A good ground clearance
  • Tough built Quality

The looks are more aggressive and inspired by the culture of India. Its iMT tech is very helpful for city traffic conditions. And it is a perfect car for Highway rides. As its top versions are a bit expensive the mid-range HTK+ trim level does get you well more than the basics at a more digestible price.

The Renault Triber is an interesting proposition. It’s under 4 metres in length but is among few ‘small cars’ to offer three rows of seating. On offer is a petrol engine and manual gearbox combination and an AMT auto option will come in early 2020. The Triber has received an impressive 4 Star Rating for adult occupant protection by Global NCAP. As Mr.D.S.Pughazhyendhii went for long drives with his family of a total of 5 members the Triber provides a good and spacious seating capacity and also gives a gigantic boot space when we close 3rd-row seats. And it all comes under 10 Lakhs.

The Honda Amaze is an economical subcompact saloon car by the Honda Corporation Japan. Amaze is Honda's highest selling car in the market. Overall it is a well-proportioned car and has become better with a more likeable exterior and a cabin that feels more premium. It comes with petrol-manual, petrol-CVT auto, diesel-manual and even a unique diesel-CVT version to choose from. The 2021 facelift has brought minor cosmetic changes and a few key feature additions to help keep it up to date. And it is one of the most budget-friendly cars that comes with paddle shifters.
