Benchmarking

1. Benchmark with presently available cars in the market for the following case.

Mr. D.S. Pughazhyendhii is a married man who lives in Bangalore which is a highly crowded city. His Family comprises five members including his wife, five-year-old boy, his father, and his mother. He visits his native place Madurai which is 500kms away from Bangalore once in a month. Also, he will be using his car to commute to his office. His budget falls between 8 to 10 lakhs on road. Please suggest to him with options so that he will buy a good car for his family.

Note: Pughazhyendhii is fond of big cars

Pros: -

1. The car offers an ample amount of cabin space has comfortable enough.
2. The 999 cc engine is quite a hiccup sometimes you have to press the pedal hard enough to get it going.
3. Handling and braking are impressive in city rides.
4. The car really goes well on the highway and remains stable enough even at 130–140kph.

Cons

1. Engine is not that powerful
2. Only 3 cylinders present

*Bootspace is less

RENAULT KIGER

pros

• The quirky design stands out.

 Pros

Well-designed & practical cabin with enough space for 5 adults

366-liter boot is accommodating

1.2L NA petrol offers good driveability.

Uses the well-rated platform of the Altroz. Safety package includes dual airbags, CSC, brake sway control, ISOFIX etc.

 HONDA JAZZ VX

Pros

*It has amazing exterior looks and design and interior of this car looks premium.

*Performance of this car is very good and it comes with powerful engine.

*It has great build quality and it offers good safety features also.

*It has good interior space and it has comfortable seats.

Cons

*Mileage is less

*Diesel engine is not available.

*It is expensive than its rivals.

CONCLUSION

I would suggest "HYUNDAI GRAND i10 NIOS"

It has a powerful engine and the mileage provided by the car is also good compared with the rests of the cars.

It's price is also less,providing heigher features as compared to the rest of the cars.
