BUDGET CAR UNDER 10LACKS

As a family member, may be one of his dream to buy a car for his family usage and also of an personal daily usage for ease of his comfort.

Every member will think that have to choose the best car among other cars which is suitable for his requirements. Every car have pros and cons, reasons like

i)overall car is ok there is less safety features in the car and vise versa.

ii)Interiors looks good but outlook was not that much good and vise versa.

iii)Front seats were comfortable but rear seat comfort was less.

iv)Everything is good but cost was high and vise versa.

v)Interior section like Dashbord, multimedia system, air conditioning, overall ambitious of interior, driving comfort, blind spots, outside view from inside and etc, there are so many reasons come into account in order to buy an new car.

This reasons going to play crucial role of an companies in order to satisfy the customer, as per me there is no car where fulfills all his requirements, there will be some cons but it may be minor for his case, nothing to do he must adjust and have to choose to buy an car.

Now a days there is very much competition between various brands, to choose an particular car also very difficult, because of up gradation of automotive sector, technology , every company putting maximum effort to satisfy the customer.

In this section i will try to suggest an best car under 10lacs to Mr. D.S. Pughazhyendhii.

His requirements are

i)Total 5 family members.

ii)Avg monthly travel 1000km(petrol car).

iii)Main usage in crowded city (bangalore)

iv)Budget in between 8-10 lacks .

For this case i would like compare two cars, there are

1) XUV3OO

2)TATA NEXON.

There are so many cars which are underlying between 8 to 10lakcs,why i suggesting him only this two?.The reason as follow.

While choosing a car mainly i concentrated on following conditions,

i)Saftey(Depend on NCAP crash test ).

ii)Engine performance

iii)Ease of driving

iv)Front and Rear seat comfort.

V)MILLEAGE

VI)Extra features like multimedia system, safety features like EBD,ABS , AIRBAGS ETC.

I)SAFTEY:-

TATA NEXON XUV3OO

NCAP:- A New Car Assessment Program (or Programme) is a government car safety program tasked with evaluating new automobile designs for performance against various safety threats.

• Total 5 stars they included to decide safety of car , the more stars (not more than 5) more safety it means.
• They will test the car with different impacts with ideal robotics in the car at certain speed may be 80km/hr, After impacting they will analyze the various parameters of an car and robotics and decides the rating which is as show in the figure.
• When we compare NEXON VS XUV3OO,both have 5 star rating for adults ,but in case of child safety have 3 star in case of nexon and 4 star in case xuv3oo.So, have more safety in XUV3OO.
• In case of airbags, there is have more advantage in xuv3oo than nexon ,because have 7 airbags have added advantage i.e more safety especially knee air bag is an new invention where protect knee damage during impact.(Most of the cars don't have this kind of feature), hence more safety in XUV3OO.
• Both the cars are coming with monocoque chassis with different designs, here we have to consider that what ever the design ,ultimate result is that how much safety for passengers who is inside the car during sudden impacts i.e how much the chassis frame absorbs or resists the impact load from the sudden impact.
• So, we want to know that , the chassis just not an support to the body of an car, its duty to transfer the impacts throughout the frame, hence minimizing the risk of damage to inside passengers of an car.
• So, the design may be vary from brand to brand , but the result finalized by NCAP program, i.e its rating itself indicates that how much safety the car was, the safety mainly depends upon the chassis of an car.

Some of common features were as show below.

CONCLUSION:-

In case of safety i would like to suggest to go for XUV3OO.

II)ENGINE PERFORMANCE&MILEAGE:-

If we see the engine performance, before going into topic we need to understand some basics, they are.

I dont want to go that much deep,in simple terms i will explain about power and torque.

In order to buy a car every person will look into its power (i.e 100bhp,120bhp),actually what does it mean.

The power is workdone by the engine, and torque amount of twisting force available at end of connecting rod of an tire.

• So, we have to understand that how much quickly work was done by the engine ,so that the vehicle will move as much as faster due to twisting force, which is developed at the crank.
• So, here the thing is the performance of an car not only depends upon the power, it depends also an torque availability with respect to RPM(REVELOUTION PER MINUTE).
• In case of xuv300 have 1.2ltr engine and have power of 109bhp@5000rpm, and 1.2ltr engine and have of power 118bhp@5500rpm in case of nexon, but torque availability for the xuv300 was200n-m@2000-3500rpm and 170n-m @1750-4000rpm.
• So, the torque availability of xuv3oo have more when compared with nexon, also one more thing we have to observe that the 200n-m torque generated lesser rpm when compared with nexon i.e 170n-m@1750-4000rpm,but the power taken to generate the amount of torque was more in nexon when compared with xuv3oo.
• Hence when we are going to buy a car we have to see that there should be a more torque with lesser rpm when compared with competitor car.
• Thats why XUV3OO will reach 100km/hr around 11.5sec,where as nexon was around 15sec.
• In case of mileage both the cars have 17kmpl approximately in practical situations, but in city traffic still it may be come down to 13-15kmpl,because of most of the time the car will run in between 1-3 gears, so, lesser gear ,fuel consumption was more, hence reducing in mileage.
• To understand the effects of power and torque on a machine’s performance, let’s create two imaginary motorcycles with exactly the same weight, size and appearance. Of these two bikes, let’s assume one bike has 50 horsepower and 200 Nm of Torque. The other bike, for assumption’s sake, has 100 horsepower and 100 Nm of torque. This means that the first bike has half the horsepower, but twice the torque of the second bike.
• Now, the second bike with 100 horsepower should be able to accelerate faster and should be able to achieve a higher top speed owing to its higher power. In the simplest terms, since power is the rate of work done, it should be able to move the motorcycle at a faster rate. However, the second bike won’t have the amount of turning force required to carry heavy loads. Load the second bike up with two heavily built men, with weighty luggage, and the performance of this motorcycle will be adversely affected.
• On the other hand, the first bike, with a high torque figure, will not sprint as quickly as the second bike and will have a lower top speed as well. With twice the amount of turning force, however, even with a lot of rider load and luggage on it, its overall performance will still relatively be much less affected.
• All things being equal, the machine with higher horsepower will accelerate faster, and have a better top speed. It would, however, not be able to lug heavy loads. The one with higher torque, however, will be relatively lazy, but will be able to lug heavy loads without any fuss.

CONCLUSION:-

Hence i would like to suggest to go for XUV3OO IN CASE OF ENGINE PERFORMANCE ALSO.

III)EASE OF DRIVING:-

In order judge this topic ,must and should have to experience the driving.

I would like to share my experience in case of both cars,this is just my opinion, its vary person to person and seat comfort ability and also an head room of an car.

Both the cars were coming with power steering for ease of driving, but performance vary brand to brand.

Where i felt like good experience in XUV3OO when compared with NEXON,for this case i done research to find out the reason behind this one. This is just my assumption.

Nexon is an crossover design which is a combination of SUV&MUV,in case of xuv300 is an COMPACT SUV.

Here the difficult thing is most of the SUV OR MUV's come with ladder frame chassis ,while driving this type of cars we fill feel some discomfort when compared with like sedan,hatchback,etc segments,but only the mahindra brand come with monocoque chassis in SUV segment.

Of course in point of our discussion both the brands have monocoque chassis only, but in case oF nexon is an crossover, but in XUV3oo is compact SUV. in order to design an suv segment under monocoque chassis is very difficult, but this is overcome by only the brand of mahindra.

Mahindra is the one and only brand in india who are manufacturing an monocoque chassis in an XUV SEGMENT.

When we will look outside of an car its look like a big car, every person think that its very difficult to drive, but once you experience the car you will not feel at all you driving an big car, that what i experienced.

And remaining things like steering mounting controls, power window locking systems, air conditioning ,interior ambience, seating comfort, and music system, for the both the cars have excellently done.

But in case of music system in nexon i.e harmonic multimedia system is an excellent feature when compared with XUV3OO.you love the music system in nexon during long drive.

CONCLUSION:-

In case of ease of driving also i would like to suggest to go for XUV3OO.

IV)BUDGET 8 TO 10LACS:-

What i discussed till now for the both the cars will start in the range of 8 to 12lacs on road price, there are various varients in each brand, those who feel that some of the features are not going to useful to you, they can compromise to choose an particular varient hence reduction in cost .

What i explained above ,every feature will available from lower end to top end of both cars, but there is difference of air-bags selection. What i told you 7 airbags in xuv3oo is only available only in top end , which may be costlier may be 12lacs,remaining features all are available from lower end what i explained above.

Final conclusion:-

If you observe the discussion above ,you feel like he was very much favour to XUV3OO,but my intention why i advising explained technically in detail as of my knowledge.

Its just an advice from my side.

Most of the persons will fall love to buy an car by looking its exterior design, Most of the people will see the car, whether it will come under my budget or not, as per 10 lacks budget i chosen the above two cars which are more safety and convenient to buy a car for 5 members in an family.

There are so many other brands available in indian market, the reason i chosen this two cars because of present trend and most selling cars in india are CROSSOVERS,SUV,andMUV's vehicles under 10lacs budgetary cars.
