PUGHAZHYENDHI IS A MARRIED MAN WHO LIVES IN BANGLORE WHICH IS A HIGHLY CROWDED CITY .HIS FAMILY COMPRISES OF 5 MEMBERS INCLUDING HIS WIFE ,5 YEAR BOY , FATHER AND HIS MOTHER .HE ONCE IN A MONTH VISITS HIS NATIVE PLACE MADURAI WHICH IS ALMOST 500KMS AWAY FROM BANGLORE .ALSO HE WILL BE USING HIS CAR TO COMMUTE TO HIS OFFICE, HIS BUDGET FALLS BETWEEN 8 LAKH TO 10 LAKH ON ROAD PRICE , PLEASE SUGGEST HIM WITH OPTIONS SO THAT HE WILL BUY A GOOD CARS FOR THIS FAMILY MEMBERS .
Benchmark : -
Benchmark is a process of comparing similar products in respect to its features, structure, performance and dimensions keeping in mind the leader in that segment. It should be based on particular selection factor and deducing it to final conclusion.
Comparisons between similar products services or process on some dimensions of performance like
1.) between similar process in the same factory or services
2.) between different factories or service branch
3.) between different competing organisations
4.) between different sectors using the same process
Benchmark 1
The first type of benchmark is the competitor’s price, specifications ,performance and other system features.
Benchmark 2
In second type of benchmark is the component wise comparison from the competitor’s car to reduce the weight of the system ,which improves the performance of the system.
